If St. Thomas feels crowded today it is. Over 15,000 people are coming ashore from cruise ships today. And among them is the new Allure of the Seas, a sister ship to the Oasis of the Seas which is the largest cruise ship in the world. Allure is arriving at the Austin Monsanto Marine Terminal in Crown Bay – we also have the Eurodam, and at West Indian Company Limited the Solstice, the Azura and the Norwegian Pearl. Plus two ships in St. John – the Club Med 2 and the Sea Dream 2 – total of seven ships. Due to the number of ships – the taxi stand at Guttets Gade will serve as a pick up and drop off point for taxis and there is a pick up location at Emancipation Garden and Vendor’s plaza. Taxis will not be allowed to stop on Main Street.
